Let's take care of water

Let's help the planet.

In us it is to make our planet earth to survive. Many times we are not aware that we waste a lot of drinking water or use a lot of electricity, because we have, but what about those who do not.

According to AQUAE Foundation:

  • Earth contains about 525 million cubic kilometers of water.
  • 97% of the water is in the oceans, and 2% is frozen.
  • 80% of water found in the continents is on the surface. The remaining 20% is located underground or in the form of atmospheric water vapor.
  • Only 2.5% of the water that exists on Earth is freshwater. Of that amount, 0.5% is found in underground deposits and 0.01% in rivers and lakes.
  • 90% of freshwater resources available on the planet are in Antarctica.
  • Only 0.007% of the water present on Earth is drinkable, and that amount is reduced year after year because of pollution.
  • More than 1.1 billion people in the world lack direct access to potable water sources.
  • By 2050 the consumption of the liquid will increase by 44% to meet industrial demands and population, about 2 billion people will live in countries or regions where water scarcity will be absolute and water resources per person will be below 500 cubic meters recommended, amount of water a person needs to lead a healthy and hygienic life.
  • Lack of clean water kills 4,500 children a day, mostly from developing countries.

These data must be considered very seriously and see that we are ending this resource that is very important for our life. For all this I want to write a challenge for water care that is promoting, Yolanda Andrade an actress, host and Mexican producer.

The challenge is "Glass of water", this means that with a glass of water we can brush the teeth, and it is absolutely true, I am doing and I want to tell you that a glass of water serves to make you brush your teeth two times, but how it is: you fill your glass with water, get wet your brush, you put toothpaste, brush your teeth, you rinse your mouth and rinse the brush and ready, do not waste water from the sink.

These actions are very simple and I think we must be aware that in our hands is to save all the resources we have on earth. Let do our bit.

Earthquakes-Mexico

Earthquakes in Mexico.   In Mexico along with other countries, earthquakes are very common and this is because it is part of the Belt or Ring of Fire, located on the coasts of the Pacific Ocean and is characterized by concentrating some of the most important subduction zones of the world, which causes an intense seismic and volcanic activity in the areas covered.   The National Seismological Service in Mexico recorded only 16 thousand 540 earthquakes in the last 12 years, which means that there are almost 4 earthquakes per day in the country. Throughout the history of Mexico there have been dev astating earthquakes of great magnitude: One of the largest earthquakes in Mexico was March 28, 1787, on the coast of Oaxaca, with a magnitude of 8.6. It is also known as "The Great Mexican Tsunami," and caused one of the greatest damages in the history of Oaxaca, flooding everything in its path up to six kilometers inland, near what is now Puerto Angel and...

Fanaticism.

Fanaticism ... beyond rationality. Feeling the passion for something is extremely positive because it leads us to achieve our goals, but when it becomes an uncontrolled obsession goes to the negative side. Extreme fanaticism has existed for many years, throughout history to the present, many cases have been known where a person or a group of people perform irrational acts damaging others. "When fanaticism has hardened the brain, the disease is almost incurable." Voltaire.   The word fanaticism is made up of fan: which refers to an enthusiastic follower of a person or thing in particular; and by ism: this term refers to a doctrine or belief. So it can be said that fanaticism is the vehement pursuit and defense of a person, doctrine or religion in an extremely passionate way, losing any critical sense, breaking the barriers of the rational, leading people to take actions that can threaten even against common sense and is characterized mainly by defending and ...
