Phobias

Weird phobias.

Everyone, at some point in life have experienced some phobias, but there are a few very strange phobias, that you would think they are a joke.

But let's talk first about what is a phobia:

It is an irrational fear, a type of anxiety disorder in which the person has a relentless fear of a situation, a creature, place or thing. It is an intense fear of something that is actually minimal or no threat, which can reach panic and extreme suffering. Is usually uncontrollable, notably it affects the quality of life and the person who has it avoids the phobic object or situation.

Now I will show you some of the most rare phobias that exist:

  • Hexakosioihexekontahexafobia: fear of the number 666. People with hexakosioihexekontahexafobia feel an irrational fear of the number 666 and avoid things related to this issue. The origin of this phobia is linked to Satan or the Antichrist.
  • Xantofobia: fear of the color yellow.  Xenophobia is the irrational fear of the color yellow. People suffering this type of phobia generate great anxiety with anything that contains yellow. The sun, the yellow paint yellow word or generate symptoms in xantofóbico.
  • Trypophobia: fear of the cheese.  Those who suffer trypophobia can't see or smell a simple piece of cheese because it gives them a feeling of intense discomfort, this is due to a traumatic experience suffered previously. Totally it is one of the rarest phobias known. WOW and I love to eat cheese.
  • Hipopotomonstrosesquipedaliofobia: fear of long words.  It is that fear, irrational to the pronunciation of long and complicated words, the person suffering this phobia avoids mentioning such words. Many times, this phobia is accompanied by social shyness and fear of being ridiculed. Due to the complexity of the word used to describe this phobia, the words used today are: sesquipedaliofobia or largsofobia.
  • Coulrophobia: fear of clowns. The image of a clown produces panic, fear and distress to the person suffering coulrophobia. Although it is common this phobia is perceived as funny by people who don't have this fear, the subject experiencing the phobia of clowns can trigger major anxiety attacks. I don't think this is one of the most rare or strange phobias that exist in the world but it might for some people if it is, but let's face it there are a few clowns that don't look very friendly.
  • Cronofobia: fear, to the passage of time. It is difficult to understand and is exacerbated by the fact that people who are too afraid to the passing of the years can not prevent that from happening. So far no one has the recipe for eternal youth, so only you have to accept yourself, loving you and taking care through the years, and well, there are surgeries but don't become addicted to them.
  • Hypnophobia: afraid to sleep.  It is an irrational and excessive fear, to the act of sleeping. People with this phobia feel panic by thinking that while you are sleeping something terrible might happen, for example, they stop breathing and die. The cause can also be the fear of having nightmares because if any suffered repeatedly before.
These are just some of the rare phobias that exist but there are many more, best of all, it can be treated to overcome.

And you have phobias?

Political fanaticism.

Political fanaticism.    In recent years, a very latent phenomenon that has been growing dangerously and vertiginously, in a context of high polarization; this distorter is presented as an enemy of electoral conscience and a healthy and mature democracy, it is political fanaticism.    But let's start by defining fanaticism:    According to the definition of the Royal Spanish Academy : it is an “excessive passion and tenacity in the defense of beliefs or opinions, especially religious or political ones”.    For Voltaire: “Fanaticism is to superstition what delirium is to fever, what rage is to anger. He who has ecstasies, visions, who takes dreams for realities and his imaginations for prophecies is a novice fanatic with great hopes; he may soon get to kill for God's sake."    Therefore, fanaticism is identified by the desire to impose their ideas, despise those who are different, be based on a series of thoughts that ar...

Bandera Mexicana

The Propaganda Principles of Goebbels

The 11 Propaganda Principles of Joseph Goebbels.   Who was Joseph Goebbels?   Joseph Goebbels was the father of Nazi propaganda and head of the Ministry of Popular Education and Propaganda, created by Adolf Hitler when he came to power in 1933. Goebbels had been the director of the Nazi Party's communication task and the great architect of the rise to can.   In those times, Adolf Hitler was a messianic figure, a myth that led the country wrapped in an aura of divinity. And if Hitler was the Messiah, Goebbels was his prophet.     Once in government and with a free hand to monopolize the state media apparatus, Goebbels banned all publications and media outlets outside his control and orchestrated a system of slogans to be broadcast through a centralized power of cinema, and radio, theater, literature, and the press.   He was also in charge of promoting or making government announcements public. His work in communication, control, and mass mani...
