4 agreements

4 Toltec agreements

We all in the course of our lives made decisions that may come to harm, and are not as we expected and we reproach for having taken.

We have to stop doing that and follow the 4 Toltec agreements, which proposes Dr. Miguel Ruiz.

First, the Toltecs are a pre-Columbian culture, which dominated most of central Mexico, among the centuries X and XII AD, and which was characterized by the extensive development of their esoteric knowledge, which survived transmitted from generation to generation.

The agreements are dogmas or principles, whose application in all aspects of our life, lead us to achieve a high level of inner peace and tranquility.

4 agreements:
1. Be impeccable with your word: This agreement speaks to us, to use the words properly. It is to be consistent with what you think and what you do. So you get to be authentic and respectable.
2. Do not take anything personally: Whatever happens around you, do not take it personally, because if you do, you expose yourself to suffer for nothing, just trying to trust you, in who you are and what you do.
3. Do not make assumptions: Do not take anything for granted. If you have doubts and suspicions, always ask. Suppose, it makes you invent stories that only poison your soul and have no foundation.
4. Always do your best: Always do your best, with maximum effort and enjoying what you do, and so achieve good results and you never regret anything. And if you fall, you start again.
"There is no reason to suffer. The only reason you suffer is because you choose. If you look at your life you will find many excuses to suffer, but no valid reason. The same applies to happiness. Happiness is a choice, but so is suffering. "
(Dr. Miguel Ruiz)

Political fanaticism.

Political fanaticism.    In recent years, a very latent phenomenon that has been growing dangerously and vertiginously, in a context of high polarization; this distorter is presented as an enemy of electoral conscience and a healthy and mature democracy, it is political fanaticism.    But let's start by defining fanaticism:    According to the definition of the Royal Spanish Academy : it is an “excessive passion and tenacity in the defense of beliefs or opinions, especially religious or political ones”.    For Voltaire: “Fanaticism is to superstition what delirium is to fever, what rage is to anger. He who has ecstasies, visions, who takes dreams for realities and his imaginations for prophecies is a novice fanatic with great hopes; he may soon get to kill for God's sake."    Therefore, fanaticism is identified by the desire to impose their ideas, despise those who are different, be based on a series of thoughts that are unquestionable, have a square view of t

Earthquakes-Mexico

Earthquakes in Mexico.   In Mexico along with other countries, earthquakes are very common and this is because it is part of the Belt or Ring of Fire, located on the coasts of the Pacific Ocean and is characterized by concentrating some of the most important subduction zones of the world, which causes an intense seismic and volcanic activity in the areas covered.   The National Seismological Service in Mexico recorded only 16 thousand 540 earthquakes in the last 12 years, which means that there are almost 4 earthquakes per day in the country.
