Soccer Facts. This time I decided to write about a topic that most people love, soccer. Sport known in Mexico as "Fútbol",  is also called soccer, is played between two teams of 11 players each and an umpire that ensures that the rules are met correctly, played in a rectangular field of grass, with a football goal on each side of the field. The aim of the game is to move a ball across the field to try to locate the opposing goal within what is known as "goal". The team that scores the most goals after the match is the winner. The football matches last 90 minutes, divided in 2 periods of 45 minutes each, but if the result is very closed they increase up to 25 minutes more. It is considered the most popular sport in the world, with 270 million people participating in it. Datos del fútbol. Esta ocasión decidí escribir sobre un tema que a la mayoría de las personas les encanta, el soccer. El deporte conocido en México como "Fútbol", es también llamado soccer, es jugado entre dos equipos de 11 jugadores cada uno y un árbitro que se ocupa de que las normas se cumplan correctamente, se juega en un campo rectangular de césped, con una meta o portería a cada lado del campo. El objetivo del juego es desplazar una pelota a través del campo para intentar ubicarla dentro de la meta contraria lo que se conoce como "gol". El equipo que marque más goles al cabo del partido es el que resulta ganador. Los partidos de fútbol duran 90 minutos, divido en 2 periodos de 45 minutos cada uno, pero si el resultado es muy cerrado se llegan a aumentar hasta 25 minutos más. Escudo Nacional Mexicano. Cada país cuenta con símbolos nacionales los cuales representan a cada nación, y en esta ocasión les quiero compartir uno de los 3 símbolos patrios mexicanos que nos representa y nos distingue de los demás países, y este es el Escudo Nacional Mexicano. Historia. El Escudo Nacional está inspirado en la leyenda de la fundación de México-Tenochtitlan.
