Los quince años.

Fiesta de quince años en México.


En México hay una celebración muy especial para todas las niñas que cumplen quince años, la cual consiste en una fiesta para con toda la familia y amigos. Desde hace algunos años esta tradición ha ido cambiando pues algunas prefieren tener un auto, un viaje, una operación, etc.



Origen.



Existen algunas teorías de su origen como:



  • Rito de la iniciación. Este rito en las mujeres de las culturas mayas y aztecas era para indicar que la niña se estaba volviendo adulta y se encontraba lista para procrear. La niña era preparada en clases para ser una buena esposa.

  • La conquista. Con la llegada de los españoles quisieron erradicar ese rito, pero al no poderlo hacer se le dio un giro más ceremonial y religioso. Las familias acaudaladas de esas épocas hacían una enorme fiesta inspirada en los bailes para debutantes de la nobleza inglesa y la alta burguesía francesa del siglo XIX y así presentar a su hija para poder escoger al mejor postor para su familia. La chica debutante al bailar el vals con el chico era la señal para concretar el trato. 

    Estas fiestas se fueron popularizando en todas las clases sociales y se fue transformando su objetivo de ser en un inicio el intercambio o venta de la niña a la ilusión de celebrar esa edad tan esperada para las jovencitas y decir adiós a la niñez y pasar a la vida adulta. 



Elementos para una fiesta de quince años.




  • El principal elemento es el vestido de la quinceañera que la hará ver como toda una princesa.

  • La misa para agradecer a Dios la nueva etapa.

  • La fiesta donde la familia y amigos disfrutaran de comida, baile, y mucha diversión.

  • El vals con los chambelanes.

  • La entrega de la última muñeca por el papá a la jovencita.



Como ya lo mencioné antes actualmente las celebraciones evolucionaron a las preferencias de cada joven e incluso los hombres también hacen sus fiestas de quince años.
