El grooming en las redes sociales.

Es muy cierto que el Internet y la creación de las redes sociales han ayudado por las facilidades y rapidez en las comunicaciones, pero no todo es felicidad pues también esta facilidad ha permitido que criminales se escondan detrás de identidades falsas y realicen actos que dañan a las personas para lograr sus cometidos.

Uno de estos actos es el "grooming" proviene de la palabra "groom" que significa acicalar o cepillar en caso de animales, pero en estos tiempos, es considerado uno de los principales problemas de acoso por medio del uso de las redes sociales, en donde las víctimas en su gran mayoría son menores de edad.

El "grooming" consiste cuando un adulto oculta su verdadera identidad e intención para establecer lazos de amistad con algún menor en Internet con el fin de obtener una satisfacción sexual. Al aceptar la amistad el menor y al crearse una confianza entre ellos, el acosador por medio de engaños, chantajes, mentiras e incluso la extorsión comenzará con su propósito, pidiendo imágenes y videos comprometiendo la identidad y dignidad del menor.

¿Qué hacer?

Tratar de publicar lo menos posible nuestra información personal en Internet.
Utilizar contraseñas seguras.
Desconfiar de cualquier desconocido en Internet y nunca aceptar su amistad.
Nunca acceder a las peticiones que se hagan en Internet.
Asegurar tu privacidad en las redes sociales.
No publicar tus localizaciones.
Guardar todas las peticiones y chantajes como pruebas.
Acudir a la policía y DENUNCIAR EL ACOSO.

Es muy importante la supervisión hacia los menores cuando usan Internet y sobre todo mantener una buena y estrecha comunicación con ellos para que no les suceda esto.
